Our Mission is to discover, preserve and share Sindhi culture while supporting scholars, artists and artisans

In 1947 the world changed, India was split in 2 parts. For Punjab and Bengal their state was split in across the both nations. For Sindh and Sindhi’s there was no place in India. Millions of Sindhi’s had to abandon their life, their house and their way of living to start a new life as refugees in India.

As life moved on the Sindhi diaspora made it’s way across India and the world, moving on and settling into a new life. As the generation that lived through Sindh enter’s their twilight years the fond memories and stories of our homeland will go with them

At the SIndhi Culture Foundation, our goal is to discover share and preserve these precious memories and stories. To share the legacy and rich history across multiple generations this is our last chance and we have to make it matter.

The Sindhi Culture Foundation was founded by the late Dr. Shyam Bulchandani, from Shakarpur and his daughter Aruna Madnani who achieved her dream of visiting Sindh in 2019. We are Supported by our generous patrons who support our cause and are helping us reach our goals
