British War Medal [1914-1918] Awarded to Seth Rai Bhadur Kishinchand Asrani:
Awarded to the officers and men of British and imperial forces for service in the first World War.
Two versions of the medals were produced. About 6.5 million in Silver and 1,10,000 in Bronze.
These were also awarded to Chinese, Maltese, and Indian labor corps.
Presented by-UK and the British dominions and Emperor of India.

Observe the side of the medal- Sir Bertram Nackennal bareheaded.
Reverse side- Saint George naked open horseback and armed with a short sword, which achieved victory over Prussians.
The horse tramples on a Prussian eagle shield, a skull and cross bones
In the background are ocean waves and in the upper right is risen sun of victory.
Ribbon- the silk ribbon is 32mm wide, with a 3mm wide royal blue band, a 2 mm wide black band repeated in reverse order and separated by a 16mm wide orange band.
The colors don’t have any symbolic significance.
